Module debugging:

When the digital potentiometer is used for the first time to test its quality:

The resistance value of the resistance terminal measured by the ordinary multimeter is usually abnormal. This is because of the special internal structure of the digital potentiometer, and the working state of the potentiometer needs to be measured by the voltage division method. Take the DC 5V voltage and add it to the VH and VL terminals, and use the multimeter voltage gear to measure the voltage of the VL port and the VW port. After the potentiometer works, change the resistance value of the multimeter to measure the voltage and the corresponding change is the work normally.

The digital potentiometer module comes with a test program, and the program code is C language code, which is written in modules. The code includes: the main function, the display sub-function, the button sub-function and the header files of each module. You can use KEIL4 to open the source code for testing and learning.
